Our good friend and co-worker, Bart Damer, has decided to venture out into the jungle of freelance… and is leaving our company.  Bart has been here for 3 years and he has brought so much to our team.  He’s done some amazing work (he listed his favorites today on his blog) but more importantly, he’s been a great friend.  Having him up here is a joy and it will take time to get used to a Bartless environment.  We wish him well and can’t wait to see the new and amazing things he is able to do on his own.

We are excited to sneak peak some of the artwork being created this year for Easter. Soon we will release an Igniter Track, easySLIDES and a BackPack based on the artwork you see below. This will be one of several products we have created this year to help you tell the Easter story. Stay tuned for more videos and tracks as well.

Johnny & Chachi keep releasing videos that change hearts.  This time, they’re going after the typical Youth Ministry leader.  The wisdom in this video is light in richness, but thick in humor.  I don’t know what that means.

Several from the Igniter Media/Collide team journeyed to Chicago for the Simply Youth Ministry Conference.  We have been able to do many cool partnerships with Simply Youth over the years, starting way back in 2003.  This was a very fun conference and major props go to the Simply Youth/Group team for putting on a great event.

Once again, it was fun to talk to lots of people who had never heard of Igniter Media… always a highlight at conferences.  Marc Matthews gets the MVP for the Igniter booth.  This was his first conference and he did a great job.

Another big part of the conference for us were the media/tech classes that we taught.  COLLIDE Magazine sponsored several classes taught by Scott McClellan, Bart Damer, Jeff Parker, Dave Harris, and more.  They did a great job.

Lastly, it was a blast taking Johnny and Chachi to the main stage.  They performed their 90’s Medley and premiered their video, ‘Killer Youth Ministry Tips’.  Those were a highlight for sure.
