Future Igniter stuff… We want to hear from you.

Written by Rob Thomas

Above is an image from a church using Igniter Tracks.  We released two volumes late last year with a total of 14 songs.  We loved creating them, but are unsure of the importance or demand of them in the church.  So we want your help.  Please take a minute or two and answer these three questions in the comments section.

1. Do you use Igniter Tracks and if so, how important is it to you that we grow that library?

2. Our libraries include Igniter Videos, Igniter Backs, Igniter Tracks, and Igniter Bumpers. How would you arrange those libraries in importance to you?

3. What are we NOT doing that you would want us to do?

Thanks for your help.

Last Day for Echo Early Bird

Written by Rob Thomas

Anyone interested in coming to Echo, please sign up today… it’s the last day to get the Early Bird rate.  Echo Church Media Conference is something our team is very excited about.  We think we have a great conference coming (4 weeks away!).  Great speakers, great breakout classes and labs, and we think it will be a lot of fun.  We are working hard on all the visual media that will be used there, as well as the entertainment… It will also be a great place to connect with other churches using media, as well as see what is out there.  SIGN UP TODAY.

UPDATED: New IgniterBacks 04… shipping Wednesday!!

Written by Rob Thomas

IgniterBacks 04 is available and shipping starting tomorrow.  For whatever reason, we’ve always honored the first buyers (first 24 hours) with a free t-shirt… at this point, it’s become a tradition as we have done it since the first volume.  Also, we’ve taken $10 bucks off the price.  SO, if you think you might possibly be buying this volume (and we hope you do), I would urge you to get it tomorrow. Plus, I saw Jeff in the newly design t-shirt (great design Garett) and he looks amazing!

UPDATE: We are still in the process of getting IgniterBacks 04 up on the site.  To make sure everyone can take advantage of the sale and free t-shirt, we have extended the sale to Friday at noon.  Hopefully everyone will have access to their computer by then.

We’ve been on the road a lot

Written by Rob Thomas

It seems like we have been gone a lot lately… We were in Tulsa several weeks ago (meeting with Steelehouse), then last week, we attended the Arise Conference (AKA Willow Creek Arts Conference).  We enjoyed it very much, though I was ill for a portion of it.  Next week we will be in California meeting with a handful of people/organizations.  Here are some pictures from the Arise Conference.

Our team with Kendall Payne.

Kami and Jeff getting pumped!

Ashley looking at the Igniter site with some attendees.

Kent doing what he does best… giving free loops away.

I literally passed out magazines for 2 minutes during the whole conference.  Great job Scott and Kami!

Get your Father’s Day mini movie, loops, countdown, and stills

Written by Rob Thomas

Last year, we released a Father’s Day collection very close to Father’s Day and not everyone had a chance to ‘plan’ it into their service. Well, we invite you to take another look at our collection… we’ve gotten some really good feedback from churches that have used ‘What Dads Can’t Do‘. Also, the loops and stills are very versatile and can be used for Father’s Day or any other time. Check it out.

New faces! New faces!

Written by Rob Thomas

We have had several people join us up here since I last blog posted.  First came the interns!  That’s right, we have five interns this summer and they are a very cool bunch.  They are helping the overall company with many things and it’s nice having more hands on deck up here… that’s a boat or ship term and has nothing do to with Cruise Ship vs. Battleship which is available for download.  Our hope is that Phil, Daniel, Ashton, Garrett, and Mo leave here feeling like they learned and had a fun experience at the same time.

Today happens to mark the first day on the job for Ashley.  He is going to be heading up our sales department… That’s right, I’m now calling it a department since we actually have someone focusing on it.  He will split his time between the 4 divisions (another businessy term) so he’ll be wearing many hats, like the rest of us tend to do.

The full COLLIDE site is LIVE!!

Written by Rob Thomas

Scott and the team have been working for a while now trying to get the new COLLIDE site up and running.  The day is finally here.  Please take a moment to check it out.

Special thanks to the Church Media Group team.  Those guys worked very hard to create a great site experience and we are very pleased with their work.  Thanks guys!

We’ve had a great response to COLLIDE and we are excited about where it is and where it’s going.  We’d love to keep publishing it so, on that note, you might want to go subscribe now.  :)

Speaking of Mother’s Day…

Written by Rob Thomas

Since Mother’s Day is this Sunday, I wanted to mention the two women that have had the biggest impact on my life… my mom and my wife.

Though most adjectives about me in my early years are considered neutral words (he was interesting… or… he was unique), I always knew my mom thought I was the greatest.  She gave me confidence and was always there for me when I needed her.

My wife, Haley, is an amazing wife for sure… I struck gold with her.  But she is also an amazing mom.  She loves our kids so well and they adore her.  Our youngest, Ridge, doesn’t yell for daddy when he wants to be held… He yells for ‘mommy’.  Someone should teach him he’s not suppose to play favorites the way he does.

Happy Mother’s Day Haley and Mom.  And to all the mom’s out there…

Have you had a Mother’s Day Moment?

Written by Rob Thomas

Click on the image above and take a look at Darrell’s Mother’s Day moment.  Then, if you enjoyed his moment, download him and share with your church.  Chances are, there will be some laughter and you’ll be able to wish all the moms a Happy Mother’s Day.

Igniter Release Party was a blast!

Written by Rob Thomas

Yesterday was a very fun day.  It was great getting to hang out with over 100 church leaders and friends for the 3rd annual Igniter Release party.  We had several people there that had been all three years and we were very thankful for them.
