Comments for A CHRISTMAS MOMENT:

I enjoyed the humor and satire "man on the streets" approach. My teens would get a kick out of it as well. It's a creative approach to starting a conversation about the meaning of Christmas but you have to know your audience. Not everyone appreciates satire. Debbie Elizondo Youth Minister St. Michael

This video is hilarious and has a lesson. Many of our videos are modern-day parables and I was always taught when examining a parable you have to ask yourself "who am I in the parable?" In this video it's "am I the person who is answering the question correctly or incorrectly or am I the guy asking the question coming off holier than thou"? We use videos & parts of the service to take the ball to the one yard line and then it's our pastor's responsibility to make the touchdown.

I don't know, I don't really like this one so much. This series of videos is funny, and I would show this to a small group, but I agree that visitors might not react well, and that it could effectively kill the worshipping atmosphere. Personally, I laughed, but I wouldn't buy it.

What is to bad is all of the negative comments this video is getting. Hello, this is satire....this has a script...it's supposed to be funny. You need to see A Mother's Day Moment and a Thanksgiving Moment to appreciate it. And what's wrong with a little humor in the service. What...you mean Jesus never laughed? Now that's funny. I love "man on the street" interviews, but this one is offensive. He's rude, self-centered, and degrading to so many of his unsuspecting victims...and the editing is just raw. This would upset the believers and run off any newcomers, effectively killing the worship atmosphere!

I would be embarrassed for all the visitors, if this was shown at my church! Wade Stevens Faithventure Church

No, it doesn't tell me the real meaning of Christmas. It doesn't need to. This is obviously directed to people who already know, as a reminder to them. Thanks for the humor! Well done! Sherm Nichols, Villa Heights Christian Church

Sarcasm doesn't always work as an illustration tool. Poor college student are already overcome with intellect. I wonder what the real meaning of Christmas is even after viewing this, AND I know the answer!

It's too bad the interviewer doesn't know the real meaning of Christmas either. You know what I mean, don't you? Don't actions speak louder that words?
