What a very special and beautiful baby Eliot was. And what special parents he was blessed with. Thank you for sharing your story. Eliot's life was not without purpose...but it was all too brief. Thanks for sharing! Our first grandson was born like Eliot with trysomy 18. Benjamin Josiah lived for 2 hours and 10 minutes and passed brom his father's arms into The Father's arms. I would like to think that children like Eliot and others that are taken from us far too soon are just special to God, and He wants them back as soon as He gives them to us. 99 balloons encouraged me to take better care of my baby brother, Freddy. I'm 10 ten years old and i love him. Your video inspired me to make sure Freddy is safe and when i have kids, they're safe. Thanks for teaching me more responsibility. Freddy recently got hurt by falling off the shopping cart and getting an concussion. I'm his guardian angel who wasn't there to catch the 8 month old. God bless Freddy's concussion and Eliot's life on Earth.

My son was born with an undeveloped esophagus, reflux and for many days was in the NICU undergoing many tests with tubes and IVs in all parts of his tiny 7 lb body. As a sonographer I am frequently delivering the news of a baby with a trisomy. Some of them as you know well, are not compatible with life. Wow, what a story, what a life packed with God's love. Your parents did it right! We were told we have a 1 in 53 chance of having a baby with trisomy 18, but the sonogram looked good. We shall see what happens. No matter what, Eliot's story helped me lose some of my fear. If we have a baby with trisomy 18 or some other life threatening disorder, we will follow your lead and count each day, celebrate each day. Thank you. Bless you.

Eliot was born with an undeveloped lung, a heart with a hole in it and DNA that placed faulty information into each and every cell of his body. However, that could not stop the living God from proclaiming Himself through this boy who never uttered a word.
