Boy, did I need to see this! My constant thoughts for years have been what a failure I am, how I'm not half the spiritual man I used to be and how useless I will ever be to God. This causes me to at least consider the possibility, I may yet have some redeeming value.

I believe I am a work in progress...and He's not done with me yet!!! There's still so much more to accomplish, and even though I'm not perfect, He still wants me...I can handle a God like that! I love that all He asks of us is to be faithful. It's not that hard once you truly submit. He is my best friend and my first love!

I love everything about it except where it refers to God's people as "God's army." I understand the metaphor, but a military metaphor doesn't seem to fit the tone of the rest of the piece.
