You folks continue to put out the best stuff I've found. To those debating "good news," realize that "good news" was a technical term for the reign of a new king, the terms of the kingdom. Look up the "Priene Inscription" for an example.

Very Good. I see you took this almost directly from the John Macarthur Study Bible in the section "How We Got the Bible". I am glad that you could use such a Godly author and expositor. The "doom of sinners" is good news...we can't have good news if we don't know the bad news...what makes the good news good is that we were doomed as are all who sin if that sin is not paid for by a mediator. Thank you Igniter for not caving to the softened gospel of our day.
