It seems that the message is waiting for something better (God's promises). Instead of settling for what you can have now (material things) you can have so much more if you wait (sex before marriage, etc)

The same test was done years ago but with a message of "key to success- delayed gratification." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ykLUZO_-QZk If the temptation was "sex before marriage," then it would make great sense (have "it" after and within matrimony). If the marshmallow was outright sin (killing, stealing, etc.), then I can see where a child might get a little confused... Still, very nice illustration.

This is temptation? First, you're telling the kids they can have the marshmallow and it is okay, so they are not sinning because situation is not in a place where they doing anything wrong. I would eat it if I was hungry knowing there is no consequence, only that I would not get a another marshmallow. There is no right or wrong. Cute video though. Christine Living simple under Grace
