ABOUT US

Our Company

Our Foundation

From day one, our goal has been to support churches and ministries worldwide. We firmly believe that local churches and organizations everywhere are the hope of the world, and we are humbled to have an opportunity to resource them with media that declares the gospel of Jesus Christ and highlights the Truth found in the Bible.

In the Beginning

Back in 2001, Rob Thomas was looking for a creative way to serve the church. It was then that Rob saw potential in himself to create short films that could make an impact and help pastors teach.

From there, the first Igniter video, Are You Amazed?, was completed in 2002. Rob released the video to some local Dallas churches and received some positive feedback encouraging him to create more videos. September 2003 is when we officially launched our company, Igniter Media. This is when we released our first product, Igniter Videos, Volume 01, which contained Are You Amazed? and our most popular video to date, That's My King!.

Next Steps

As we released several more volumes, including videos like Together | Team Hoyt, meChurch, and Sunday's Comin', our production team began to grow. What started out as one person's vision has turned into a strong creative team dedicated to continuing to create media that declares Truth.

As we've grown, we also have seen a need to create other types of media for churches and ministry organizations.

In July 2005, we began creating Igniter Backs. These are a collection of looping motion backgrounds, countdowns, and still images.

In February 2007, we released Igniter Tracks. The goal of these tracks are to create visuals that complement the message of each song. Each volume contains 7 worship songs with a variety of options, including click tracks and instrumental versions.

Moving Forward

We absolutely love having this opportunity to resource churches everywhere. But as the media needs of the Church changes, we hope to change with it. So though it could be short films and countdowns now, we look forward to adjusting our future products to what the Church might need then, whether that is more curriculum-based content or something different altogether.
